Zhongshan Investment Holdings and Zhongshan City People's Hospital signed a collaboration agreement on August 27 to jointly build the Zimaling Nursing Home.
Having completed the full acquisition of Zimaling Nursing Home (formerly Guanghong Elderly Care Home), Zhongshan Investment Holdings will undertake a major upgrade to transform it into an affordable, high-quality urban CCRC (Continuing Care Retirement Community) integrating independent living, assisted care, skilled nursing and dementia care services.
Through this partnership, the two sides will establish a tightly integrated medical consortium featuring an in-house nursing facility. They will coordinate three strategic areas: pharmaceutical management, digital healthcare infrastructure, and integrated logistics, ensuring occupants receive seamless, high-quality medical care.
Zhongshan City People's Hospital will leverage its expertise in medical management, staff training, chronic disease prevention and emergency referral systems, enabling nursing home occupants to access healthcare services on par with top-tier hospitals.
Upon completion, the facility's bed capacity will expand from 500 to approximately 1,200, with dedicated care units for Hong Kong and Macao seniors and specialized dementia care wards added to its service portfolio.
